Thank you to everyone who auditioned.  As usual, you have made our jobs very difficult.  Please check the list below carefully for your name.  If you do not see your name below, you are still in the running for the show, so please be sure to check back on the blog on Friday night.

To all of those who have been called back:  Callbacks will be Friday, December 2nd starting at 3:00 pm..  We hope to be finished between 5 and 6:00.  We will be using the sides from the initial audition as well as some new material which you can find in PDF form on the blog.  Congratulations on a great audition :)

Joe Hardy:  "Goodbye Old Girl" cut from original packet, read new side with Lola (Side, Lola and Joe). Also, please be prepared to read scene with Meg from original packet.

Lola:  New “Whatever Lola Wants” cut, read new scene with Joe (Side, Lola and Joe)

Mr. Applegate:  New “Good Old Days” song cut, read scene with Gloria from original packet as well as new scene with Joe Boyd from the new packet.

Gloria:  New “Shoeless Joe” cut, read scene with Applegate from original packet.

Meg:  New “Six Month” song cut, read scene with Joe from original packet,

Sister and Doris:  read new scene posted online.

Welch:  read new scene posted online.

Joe Boyd:  read new scene with Applegate, Song, “Goodbye Old Girl”, new cut posted online (it’s from the first part of the song.)

VanBuren and Quartet Ballplayers:  New scene from before Heart.  Ballplayers, be prepared to read any of the numbered lines.  Be prepared to sing the initial cut of Heart and the new cut of Heart as well.

Thespian Group Musical Theatre Sheet Music and Track

Hi Guys!

I am attaching the sheet music for our group musical theatre number, "In the Beginning" from Children of Eden (I know that you don't know it, but trust me, you will LOVE it!)  Please look it over and be prepared for our first rehearsal to be at least familiar with it.  There are several vocal "features" in it.  We will audition those at our first rehearsal (which will be at lunch once Damn Yankees is cast, date TBD).

If you are planning on singing one of the songs from the audition packet, we will provide tracks for you to sing with at your audition.  If you are singing a song of your choosing, you must provide your own track.

Here is a link to a demo version of the audition cuts from the packet.  Please note that you will need to use an instrumental track for your audition.  You may not sing along with a recording.

In order to audition, you must sing 16 bars of a song (30 seconds long), either from the packet or of your own choosing.  If you pick your own song, you must provide your own instrumental backing track.  You will also be reading one of the selections from the packet at your initial audition.

Dance auditions are Wednesday November 30th.  Dance combinations will be taught on that day.

Callbacks will be held by invitation only on Friday, December 2.
