Steel Magnolias Audition Info


Actors will choose one character from either side 1 or side 2 and read for that character during the initial audition. Then we will have callbacks on the same day, and those who are called back should prepare to read for any of the six characters. Actors may hold a copy of their side while they audition.  This play takes place in Louisiana-the deep south. Please be prepared to read with a southern accent if you are able. If you cannot-this will not influence casting.

Ghost Stories Cast List

  Congratulations to all who were cast!  This was an incredibly difficult decision and we are so proud of how you handled yourselves during the audition and callback process.   You must accept or decline your role via email to Ms. Rochon and Mr. Kelly by Saturday evening at 4:00 pm.  If there are any changes in casting after that point, you will be notified by Ms. Rochon via email on Sunday, September 15th.   The first read-thru will be held on Monday, September 16th in the Black Box.  We should finish around 4:30.  Please bring a pencil, a highlighter and a binder. If you would like to get feedback on your audition, please stop by the Black Box Theatre during lunch on Monday, September 16th or Tuesday September 17th to meet with Ms. Rochon and Mr. Kelly.
