Welcome and thanks for your interest in this year’s winter musical, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. We appreciate you coming to our info meeting, for putting your energy into auditioning after Thanksgiving Break, and for wanting to be part of a main stage production here at Hopewell Valley Central High School.


We can’t wait to see you at auditions!

AUDITION PROCESS & DATES


All auditions will be completed in person this year.


You must complete the audition form with a parent/guardian to sign up for auditions.

*You need to be signed into your HVRSD account to access the form.



Please select one reading option and one singing option provided in the google drive folder. Note: you do not need to read and sing materials from the same character, you are welcome to mix them up.(ie: Sing Finch, but read Biggley)


All must attend the dance auditions no matter what roles you are auditioning for.

 

Dance WORKSHOP: Wednesday November 15th - 3 pm in Black Box Theater

**The audition dance will be taught today! STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to attend.

Reading & Singing Audition: Monday November 27th & Tuesday November 28th - 3:00pm *You will select a preferred date in the audition form; choose one.

Dance Audition: Wednesday November 29th - 3:00pm


Callbacks: Thursday November 30th - 3:00pm

Monday December 11th First Read-through


Tuesday February 20th- February 27th Tech


Wednesday February 28th Senior Matinee, 2 PM


March 1st, 2nd and 8th, 9th** Performances, 7 PM

Rehearsals will be held after school from 3:00-5:30 (approximately) each day, Students will be given a general schedule at the read through, and the specific needs for each rehearsal will be released the week prior.

  Congratulations to all who were cast!  This was an incredibly difficult decision and we are so proud of how you handled yourselves during the audition and callback process.   You must accept or decline your role via email to Ms. Rochon, Mr. White, Mrs. Cook and Mr. Kelly (please copy all 4 of us on your email!) by Saturday at noon.  If there are any changes in casting after that point, you will be notified by Ms. Rochon via email on Sunday, November 24th.  Hi Friends!  Auditions for Ghost Stories are just around the corner!  All of the information that you will need to sign up for the show are in this post.   For the first time this year, we will be using TWO SEPARATE forms to sign up.  The first one is to register your information with us.  The second link is to a Sign Up Genius to sign up to audition on a specific day (Tuesday, September 10th, or Wednesday, September 11th).  Please let Ms. R know if you have any questions or issues.
